Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund's national program team is excited to invite applications for the position of Water Projects Coordinator. As a full-time team member, you will take the lead in orchestrating and executing water projects, making a significant impact in safeguarding our water resources. Our national and state programs are at the forefront of addressing crucial issues tied to Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act programs. We bring a wealth of policy expertise and innovative engagement strategies to the table, championing clean water initiatives that affect communities across the nation.

As the Water Projects Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of policy advocacy, public education, coalition leadership, and engaging with key decision-makers, including federal agencies. Your communication strategies will drive our organizational goals, with a particular focus on combating water pollution and enhancing access to safe drinking water. Responsibilities
•Collaborate with the national campaigns team to develop and execute campaign strategies addressing water pollution and drinking water issues.
•Conduct advocacy and outreach activities related to priority Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act issues, with a focus on effective implementation and addressing disproportionate impact and equity challenges.
•Develop issue expertise to support campaign strategies and organization-wide engagement.
•Produce written materials to support campaign activities and organizational outreach.
•Coordinate efforts with Clean Water state offices, outreach and communications staff, and canvass programs.
•Convene and participate in relevant meetings and events with allies, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
•Assist in the preparation of proposals, grant reports, and other fundraising activities.
•Undertake special projects as assigned.
•Additional responsibilities may be added as needed.

Qualifications

•A minimum of a bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required.
•Minimum of three years of experience in advocacy or environmental policy work.
•Experience in environmental justice, water pollution, and drinking water issues is helpful but not required.
•Proficiency in computer skills and typing are necessary.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
•Comfortable learning policy and technical issues and working with diverse stakeholders.
•Ability to travel to Clean Water offices and events periodically.
•This position requires a blend of in-office and remote work, making it essential for the candidate to have high-speed internet access for remote collaboration.

Salary
Salary range from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Clean Water offers an attractive benefits package.
